Ella was the prime example of allowing your style & actions to draw the focus of the room! Starting at BrushCo Studio's brightly lit space was perfect due to its versatile white backdrop allowing Ella's dramatic dresses to pop & her drama/flare to make a statement! Ella & her mother wanted to highlight the affinity Ella grew up with for gowns & dresses during this shoot, so we made sure to make that the focus of some truly amazing shots. 

As we moved into the Downtown Kansas City streets, I encouraged Ella to let loose in some shots to depict the freedom & adventure that was awaiting her after graduation, to which she carried out beautifully! I couldn't help but feel as if I was watching a future Broadway talent blossom before my camera lens. 

With that influence in mind, our shoot concluded in front of the Kauffman Center of Performing Arts, where Ella emphasized during planning we must go for a few photos. Again, Ella & her dress stole the show with some dramatic shots, but also some energetic & charismatic moments that will always serve as a reminder of her youth in years-to-come.
